Who is the OBM Training Academy?

The OBM Training Academy staff consists of individuals who are specialists in their fields. They are accessible, project-ready, and focused on ensuring each customer's solutions are based on the most current professional knowledge, skill, and experience.

Meet Our People

Richard Campbell, Technology-Based Training Developer

Richard received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the Columbus College of Art and Design. He has worked for the OBM Training Academy since 2009.

Prior to working for OBM, he worked with BWC as a design specialist. Richard has worked for video production companies in the Columbus area focusing on animation, video editing, and interactive design.

Matthew Dyer, Training Academy Director

Matthew joined the State of Ohio in 2005 and has worked for several agencies since then, including the Ohio Housing Finance Agency which honored him with their 2007 Employee of the Year award. Most recently he served as the HR Manager at the State Library of Ohio which was recognized as a Columbus Top Workplace in 2014.

Matthew is a certified MBTI facilitator holding dual Bachelor degrees (HR Management, Business Administration). He's a Past-President of the State of Ohio Training Association and is currently pursuing a Master's in Library and Information Science at Kent State University. Matthew is a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) for Columbus, and remains active in the Columbus community by donating his free time to volunteering for organizations like Pecha Kucha Columbus and Summer Jam Westgate.

Ciera Fluker,Technology-Based Training Developer

Ciera has been with OBM Training Academy since 2013. She has experience developing web-based training and documenting processing procedures using a wide range of applications such as Adobe Captivate, Lectora and RoboHelp. Ciera enjoys learning new things and gaining valuable experience.

Gerry Sadorra, Technology-Based Training Developer

Gerry started with the OBM Training Academy as a College Intern in 2012, while pursuing his Master's in Business Administration with the University of Phoenix. He became a permanent OBM Training Officer by the year's end, focusing on internal process procedures and developing instructor-led training. Advancing to a Technology-Based Training Developer in 2015, Gerry brings his LeanOhio Green Belt certification and advanced software skills to maintain online web help and construct e-learning materials.

Gerry joined the state after 20 years in the private sector as a Technical Writer and Quality Control Specialist for a major defense manufacturer in California. His strengths include empathy, team building, and supporting avenues of empowerment.

Mame Greulich, Technology-Based Training Developer

Mame has been a part of OBM since 1990. She is a graduate of Ohio University and her experience has focused primarily on Financials training development, delivery, and documentation.

She enjoys discussing new projects with technical experts and determining the best way to translate information so the targeted audience will understand it. She enjoys being surrounded by intelligent, experienced, and supportive coworkers.

Jason Vermillion, Training Officer

Jason has been with OBM since 2012. Jason holds a LeanOhio Camo Belt and is actively pursuing the Green Belt Certification. His goals for the Training Academy are to effectively develop and facilitate trainings that make a positive impact on the participant's professional and personal lives while keeping the trainings engaging and fun.

Prior to joining the state, Jason has over 5 years of experience in corporate facilitation as a Training Specialist and Transition Management Specialist for one of the largest financial firms in America. He loves to be creative and is always looking for learning opportunities to grow. Jason is a graduate of Central Ohio Technical College.

Nikki Williams, Training Academy Supervisor

Nikki has been with the OBM Training Academy since 2010 and is a certified Instructional Designer/Developer, Performance Consultant, MAGIC facilitator, True Colors facilitator, DDI-certified facilitator for leadership and workforce development, and holds Six Sigma Green Belt certification. She uses her previous management experience and over 10 years of training and development experience to be the primary training resource for implementation projects and perform as a training consultant.

Nikki also documents processing procedures; designs, implements, and evaluates e-learning programs, instructor-led training, and blended training programs. She uses a variety of applications such as Adobe Captivate and Flash, Lectora, Microsoft Office, RoboHelp, and TechSmith Snagit to provide these solutions to Training Academy customers.
